When you make your annual contributions to the organizations and charities that matter to you most, we hope you’ll consider including MLW.
MLW has thrived for more than 50 years based on the enthusiasm, generosity and creativity of its volunteers and participants. We encourage you to continue this rich tradition when you think about ways to support us.
Make A Gift
In order to keep the costs of MLW programs low, we rely on the generosity of private donors. Our current tuition only represents a portion of the costs of running each summer program. If you are able, we ask that you consider making a contribution that will help us ensure keeping costs low for families. Here are some examples of how we can use your gifts:

$25 - Keep our annual reunion free (pay for one delegate to attend!)

$50 - Cover a delegate's "back to school" costs (subsidize the costs of supplies for a delegate, including our annual guidebook!)

$100 - Give to our Staff Training Fund (help us cover the costs of training our volunteer team each year)

$250 - Help pay the difference between the actual cost per delegate and our tuition
- Actual cost per delegate = $900
- Current tuition per delegate = $550-$595

$550 - Donate tuition (pay for one delegate to attend a summer program!)

$900 - Give a scholarship to cover the full cost of a delegate's summer program experience

Other amount - We welcome a gift of any amount to our general scholarship fund. We put each and every dollar to good use serving our delegates, their families, and our community.
And, if you do decide to make a gift, be sure to check with your employer about their matching gift program. Sometimes companies will match each dollar an employee gives – enabling your gift to go twice as far! And remember, MLW is a 501(c)3 so all gifts are fully tax-deductible!
Donate your Time
Our organization is run almost entirely by volunteers, and we rely on the commitment and enthusiasm of those volunteers, the delegates and families of MLW to make our programs work. Please consider donating time. Email office@mlw.org to volunteer.
Donate your Network or Connections
Perhaps you know of companies that might be interested in contributing cash gifts or in-kind gifts (like computers, supplies, services or products) – just let us know about your ideas and we’ll do the follow up. Or if your son or daughter is interested in organizing a fundraiser at school, let us know and we’ll help provide support! We love to see their leadership skills in action.
